The Carara Biological Reserve is known for it's transitional forest, a combination of the tropical dry forest and the tropical rain forest. This area is a perfect example of the many micro-climates found in Costa Rica. Once in the park, our morning hike will take us through trails which show us the heart of the forest. Here we may find countless species of animals such as: scarlet macaws, white faced monkeys, crocodiles, coatimundis, and others. At noontime, we head out to a beautiful beach resort to have a refreshing lunch and to enjoy the hospitality of the hotel an it's facilities, like the pool and the beach. When you're ready for more adventure, we'll head back to Carara once again for a short hike through a different trail to discover more of the hidden natural beauty of the reserve. We then return you to your hotel with pockets full of pictures and memories of the beautiness of nature.
