TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. RESPONSIBILITY
SUN BIRD TRAVEL COMPANY / WHOLESALE DIVISION, Florida State Travel License #ST28936, IATA 10512331, is responsible for the planning and organization for excursions and programming of services, according to conditions you specify for each trip and the same one being intermediary between the user and others lending organizations of services, Tour Operator (s) and us issue tickets and coupons covering air tickets, transportation, hotel accommodations and other services and facilities only as agents of such other companies that such services and facilities subject to all terms and conditions of the respective suppliers (some of them may limit or exclude the supplier’s liability). Neither our company, nor such operator(s) nor their respective subagents shall be held liable for loss of damage or injury to property, or injury to person caused by reason of any defect, negligence or other wrongful act of omission by any other transportation company, any hotel, any agency or any other cause beyond its reasonable control. Neither SUN BIRD TRAVEL COMPANY is not responsible for death or injury to persons, resulting from any act or omission of any supplier providing any tour service or any other person or entity or caused by strike, war, weather, quarantine, sickness, government restriction or regulation, or any loss due to acts of God. We and our suppliers reserve the right to withdraw any vacation package at any time to make such changes and alterations as may be found necessary for proper handling of said vacation packages. Every effort has been made to accurately produce the information in this brochure and web site rates. We reserve the right to correct errors.
Advance purchase for these programs is required. A valid passport is required for travel to Latin America. U.S. citizens need a Visa to enter Brazil. We assumes no responsibility if a client is refused entry into a country.
CHANGES IN ITINERARIES
SUN BIRD TRAVEL COMPANY will make every effort to operate all tours disclosed in this book. However, circumstances may arise which would require an adjustment to the tour. We will do all that is possible to avoid such changes but we reserve the right to make such modifications. Because rivers can be affected by rain or drought, high or low water levels may require a change in embarkation and disembarkation points, sightseeing itineraries, modes of transportation and crusing schedules. Alternate programs may be arranged by the cruise companies without notice.
2. MAKING A RESERVATION
Please contact us advising of full names, addresses and telephone numbers. SUN BIRD TRAVEL will reserve space on the tour and send a written confirmation upon receipt of deposit. Late bookings are welcome. Air fare is extra. Book your flights early for good deal air fares.
3. DEPOSIT & FINAL PAYMENT
A deposit of 30 % is required at time of booking. This deposit is refundable. This deposit forms part of your final payment which is due 30 days of departure will treated as a cancellation and new booking, regular cancellation fees apply. During holiday season some properties may require full payment at the time of confirmation are completely non-refundable once confirmed. LAST- MINUTE BOOKINGS reservations will be accepted subject to availability, provided payment has been received and documents can be delivered, a USD $ 25 fee will be charged for all bookings within 15 days of departure.
4. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Travel documents, including any air tickets are sent regular ground delivery 2 or 3 weeks prior to tour departure, E - tickets and E - Vouchers is available too, providing full payments has been received.
5. CANCELLATION FEE SCHEDULE
Cancellations must be writing and received by SUN BIRD TRAVEL CO. Penalties are as follows prior to departure date. Note : Special cancellation fees apply to cruises.

Air Cancellations: Upon receipt of full payment, airline ticket are issue and carry a penalty of anywhere between a minimum USD $ 150 per person to no refund based upon the type of fare that is purchase. You will be advised at time of purchase. Name changes are considered full cancellations and will be subject to the same cancellation penalties.
6. NOT INCLUDED IN THE TOUR PRICE
Passport, tourist cards, vaccination certificates, alcoholic or other beverages are not included with the meals. Excess baggage charges, personal and baggage insurance, health, gratuity to the tour escort, local guides, local airport taxes, services not mentioned in the tour programs, and any other items of personal nature. Note : many cities in Latin America have airport departure taxes which cannot be prepaid and which must be paid at the airport at the time of departure. Check the amount upon arrival and save that amount in US $ dollars.
7. REFUNDS & CLAIMS
No claim will be considered or pursued and no action will be taken by SUN BIRD TRAVEL COMPANY unless typewritten notice of claim is received with supporting documentation within 30 days of completion of tour. No refunds will be given for unused portions of tour components or hotel stays.
8. HEALTH REQUIREMENTS
At the time of printing, travel people should check with the consulates and/or their local health authority for latest health requirements. Brazil requires a yellow fever inoculation to enter Brazil from Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, or Colombia, whether by ship or by plane. Additional immunizations may also be required. Consult your local health authority.
These are active journeys which include considerable walking on uneven terrain, touring at high elevations, cruising to remote locations, using tenders or small zodiac crafts for shore landings and visiting remotes areas in newly-developing ecotourism destinations. Travelers must be in good health. Any person who needs assistance with walking, dining or personal needs may find these tours challenging and must have a companion to assist them. We regret that wheelchairs cannot be accommodated on these tours. Please consult your physician for pre-departure health advice. We reserves the right to terminate the tour of any person who are abusive of others or whose behavior disrupts the tour.
9. TRAVEL INSURANCE
Occasionally unforeseen circumstances arise which may cause you to either cancel or interrupt your vacation . SUN BIRD TRAVEL COMPANY is committed to providing you with the best value for your dollar. Trip cancellation insurance is available at time of booking and strongly recommended.
10. BAGGAGE
Airline baggage allowance regulations are based on a measurement system do not exceed two pieces of checked baggage and one carry-on piece. Each piece of checked baggage may not exceed a weight of 70 lbs.
